Discord Questions Roundup - May 5th

In Part 2, What does Emerson mean when he said ‘It’s been a long time’ during the part where team 2 were under attack?

Meaning it’s been a long time since he’s shot a gun. There’s kind of a deleted scene where Derek gives a gun each to Alex and Emerson. Deleted as in written, never recorded.

What was the hardest part when making part 3? The editing, writing, something else?

Writing was hard. Editing was harder. And what made it difficult was the pressure. I had to fight my own demons to make it exist instead of trying to make it perfect.

In the convoy (part 1) is it trains, cars, or something else? (Subway trains?)

It’s jeeps, humvees and trucks. A military convoy. Probably not tanks in this case?

In part 1, at the convoy, does Brian scoop us to bring us on the convoy? (meaning pick us up)

Yes he does.

When Alex asks Emerson, ‘Dude what the F*** happened?’ does he ask it because like Emerson has bruises from being knocked around?

Yeah, he’s probably a little banged up. But also just kind of wondering “where were you and how the h*ll did you GET up here?!”

Is there anything you wish you could have changed about RFA? (not part 3 but the others) And how long did script writing take? (estimated)

I wish that scheduling issues hadn’t forced me to recast. I think I wrote part 1 pretty quickly, I’m a fast writer. Can’t have taken me more than a week.

Maybe you answered it before, In the past you said you weren't going to make a part two, but in the end you did, what's the reason for it? (Make sense?)

Yep! So it was so much work to edit that I was afraid to make a sequel. And I didn’t know how to continue it story-wise. Then I saw a comment that inspired an idea for how to continue. And then Weeb promised to help me, and I agreed to do it.

Does Listener have any visible scars (e.g. face, arms, etc.)?

I didn’t picture it that way. But ultimately, you’re the listener, so it’s really up to you!

What are the guys and our mom's favorite flower?

I'm not really a flower girlie, so I feel unqualified to answer this heh. My personal favorite flower is the classic red rose.

Strange and potentially detailed question but. How did listener get treatment for her injuries (one was on her shoulder) without them having to cut off her shirt? (according to the internet) It seems to be standard procedure. *I hope this isn't weird

Short sleeves. They can roll it up and out of the way.

If each of the guys had a tv show what kind of show would they have?

I’m gonna include YouTube/content channel ideas. Gives me a broader range to work with.

Jack - true crime deep dives

Derek - Scot reacting to American things/foods

Will - history-channel type show

Alex - art streams

Emerson - something like one of those channels that gets to surprise people with fabulous gifts

Brian - reality show for former military trying for new careers in showbiz

Jim - travel show

Linus - reality vet show

If the RFA characters were in a band, what instruments would they play?

Jack: trumpet

Derek: bass guitar

Will: keyboard

Alex: drums

Emerson: rhythm guitar

Brian: lead vocals

Jim: lead guitar, back up vocals

Linus: saxophone/clarinet

Which of the guys wrote poems the most/loves writing poems?

I'm gonna say Alex. Maybe Jim too.
