Discord Questions Round-up: Sept 15

Got a question. When Miss Carter ran towards the edge and Jack caught her in time, do we know how the others reacted especially team 2, minus madam president, if they only heard the scared "sweetheart no!", or shall the other two reactions be fanfic?

I think that’s mostly fanfic zone. The other guys on team 1 were just shocked and relieved. On team 2, they probably had a second of calming the president down

Is Dimitri supposed to be older than listener, or just a bit tougher? I mean sure he struggled too, but the boys were mainly caring about listener and Dimitri took over the talking even tho he had less support around him

Well I never say the listener’s age, deliberately. So he can’t be older or younger. I picture him as early to mid 20s. Talking for her is really just a clever way of getting around the listener not being able to “speak” rather than the strength of his character 😁 But it does show that he does care about how she feels and wants to help.

Why does Emerson use nicknames like “Goose”, “Peaches”, and “Prince Charming”? I can understand “Kid”/“Kiddo” as Emerson sees Linus and Ms. Carter as his kids and Alex is..just Alex. But what’s the background behind the trio? Just curious!! thank you

Goose is a reference to the movie Top Gun. Being a pilot and a redhead reminded him of that. Alex is “doc” actually, even though he’s not a doctor. Peaches is because Brian is southern and could be from Georgia, which is known for peaches. He’s actually from West Virginia, but once Emerson’s chosen a nickname, it’s too late.  These are all things that Ed picked, so you’d have to ask him for the exact reasoning, but I think Prince Charming is just because Jack’s handsome (not that the others aren’t!)

How does the nest work? Are we on top of one of the boys or are we all laying next to each other?

They could make a square of mattresses. So they lie on them with their heads toward the middle. But they do move around and cuddle as well.

For RFA 4 day 2, when leaving the ship: Was there a reason why the pain took a moment untill it came and didn't immediately occur when climbing the ladder (maybe thats also sth we find out later in that case don't mind me)

The answer is … drama!

‘You know some of the Navy personnel wanted to to..’ What did they wanna do, lock us in? ( are we allowed to know? is it supposed to be open or will probably come up again later if it's not something to be answered again please don't mind me)

They were talking about physically restraining her or confining her.

Are we allowed to have RfA ocs? I was thinking about making a friend for Alex that isn’t listener but curious if we’re able to do it :)
