Does Linus have a determined ancestry/family background? (asking for headcanons and potential fanfic:)

He’s from New England. I hadn’t decided on a precise ancestry for him (or for a lot of the guys, honestly). Wolenczak is a Polish name though.

In part 1, when we got into the helicopter, is Linus the one driving it or someone else? Because Jim said that Linus would give us something for the pain.

What kind of stuff was in the subway tunnels? (Jack mentioned debris, and I don't know where it would have come from if the tunnel is intact)

I mean, they’re intact, but some stuff still fell from the ceiling. So bits of that, or maybe bags and crap people left behind when they left in a panic.

Why did Jim introduced himself as ''Jim'' and not James in part 1?

Because that’s what he prefers to be called!

is Jim a natural redhead?

Yes

How dangerous is the forcefield? (partially for fanfic reasons, partially curiosity)

I mean, dangerous enough that if you kept pushing against it without stopping, you would pass out.

What are our mothers injuries?

Again, I don’t want to get into specifics, because I don’t enough to be right/accurate. And I don’t want to get it wrong.

How long have Jack and Derek known each other? Cause they keep like being worried for the other (Maybe you already answered it before)

Is Brian's hair dyed? (it looks that way to me, but I could be wrong)

Soooo that was a decision by Ed. I like to, but I’m not sure they would allow that in the Army. So … I dunno? Possibly?

What are the RFA guys tattoos and meanings? (if you know them!)

Emerson has a firefighter tattoo with what Ed said is part of a rescuer’s prayer. (Editor’s note: If I can save one more) Jack has a bear for Cardlin. Brian has a mermaid for Siren. We asked Ashen what he wanted for Jim, and he requested something steam punk inspired. So it’s a gear with wings. Alex probably has a bunch of artistic ones. As for what they may mean to the characters … I hadn’t gotten that far yet 😅

Which of the guys is best at cooking?

Emerson! He cooks a lot at the firehouse.

As someone who also was raised Mormon (but no longer is) I'm curious if there was a specific reason behind having Will being raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints?

I was pondering the different reasons people join the military. And family/religious pressure occurred to me as one. There are plenty of religions that pressure getting married young and having tons of children. I have one Mormon friend and knew a little about it. I thought the idea of an ace Mormon, torn about their duty was an interesting concept, so I went with it! I think Will probably stopped practicing a couple years into service.

No, they're gonna come out gradually in part 4. Three more have been revealed in what I've written so far.
