I think most if not all of the military guys would be able to disarm them (maybe the listener too!). The civilians would try to get between them to protect her and talk the villain down. Or secretly call for help while keeping them talking.

Yes! Listener just hasn’t been in good shape to use those skills.

I watched rfa for the 100th time so when Will died I saw that Jack got more overprotective imo so when the listener was going to jump did he get more overprotective of her since he didn't want the listener to experience what will did?

Interesting question! I think it’s more a function of the fact that he didn’t want to lose anyone else. And in my mind, he was the closest to the edge. Jack is more protective of everyone, because Will’s death truly shakes him.
